Blue Eye (Photos From Libby’s Visit Part 2)

The Blue Eye (Syri Kaltër) is about half an hour’s drive from Saranda.  The ice-cold water bubbles up from an at least 50-metre deep pool (divers have got that far but it is believed to be at least 150 m).

The forest surrounding the Blue Eye is as impressive as the spring.  It was pretty cool to see the beginning of a river and water the most amazing shades of blue.

p.s. If there are typos, spelling or grammar mistakes in this post don’t worry about.  Those are the kinds of things I’ve worried about for FAR too long.  It’s time to just get it out and who cares if it’s not perfect, it’s from the heart!
