It’s Monday and it’s time to get to play…
Today’s exercise is called The Prosperity Game. This exercise is perfect for enhancing your ability to allow abundance in your life.
You can use this process when your Emotional Set Point range is between 1 and 16. For the full description of the scale click here.
In this simple game you set up an imaginary checking account.
You can use:
An old bank register and checks,
make your own with a receipt book,
cut up pieces of paper, or
use an accounting program that you might have on your computer.
The key is to make this process seem as real as possible.
On the first day deposit $1,000 and then spend it. Write checks to whatever you think you would buy and spend it. Be descriptive in the memo part of the check and do your best to spend it all, although you can save some for another day. On day 2, deposit $2,000 and follow the same instructions. On day 3, deposit $3,000 and follow the same instructions. On day 4, deposit $4,000 and do the same.
If you play this game for one year, you will have deposited and spent more than $66 million dollars.
One of the biggest benefits of this game is that you will be increasing your ability to imagine. You will realize that after a few weeks, it will take quite some concentration to spend that much money.
Most people respond to what they are observing, but by playing this game you will find yourself reaching for new ideas.
Joyously playing this game will not only improve your financial state, but every aspect of your life. It will help you to activate more vibrations around the things that you want and it will assist you in focusing, more of the time, in a way that allows the things that you want to flow into your experience.
The Universe responds to your vibrational offering, meaning what you focus you will always get more of.
Play the game as long as you want.
Play with your kids or spouse.
Play with your business partner.
Have fun with it.
Hungry for More, Monique Alvarez

I really think that if a person would do this, it would really be helpful, maybe life changing. Imagine how much thought would have to go into this after just a few weeks :-).. It is pretty easy to blow a few thousand dollars, but I bet after a few weeks anyone would get tired of just “blowing money” and then the good work would start. You could think about what kind of good things you could do with all of that money, how many people you could help etc,, etc :-)
That would be fun.
I received a journal as a gift this week and I’m going to make it my “checkbook”. I’ll post about the process at 30, 60 and 90 days. I’m excited!
